Will of Catherine Clague alias Moore  1742-1  Lonan



The last Will and Testament of Cathrine Clague als

Moore who departed this life about the 8th of April 1742

being of perfect Mind & memory at the making hereof

First she committed her Soul unto God and her Body to Christian

Burial. Item She left to her son William Clague all her

part of the Houses and lands together with half the Cropp and

a Draught beast which was due to him by the Death of his Grand

mother – Item She left to her Eldest Daughter Cathrine forty

Shillings and a black Gown Itm She left to her Daughter

Anne Clague forty shillins and a Heifer and the rest of her

Cloathes linnen & Woollen to be equally divided betwixt her said

two Daughters. Itm She left and appointed that in case the

said Children shouĠd die before her Husband Stephen Clague

that all their Goods & Legacys shouĠd return & fall due to him


Lastly she Nominated and appointed her abovesaid Husband

Stephen Clague Sole ExecĠr of all the rest of her Goods

Moveable and immoveable of what kind and nature soever

She left six pence Legacy to any person that might claim any

right or title to any of her Effects
