SMITH – BENTLEY – STEPHEN – MARTINDALE Family Tree


The Family Tree of my sister Edith and myself originates with our Parents Bolton Smith and Pat Bentley, connecting through to our two sets of Grandparents, James Bolton Smith and Ruth Anne Stephen on our Father’s side and John Henry Bentley and Edith Martindale on our Mother’s side.


We are part of a group of 47 first cousins who are joined by blood through our Grandparents.


All national origins derive from the United Kingdom including the Isle of Man and then Canada.


Occupations include, farmers, fisherman, miners, carpenters, clergyman, mariners, teachers, hoteliers, railway man, retailers, military men, manufacturers, grocers, riggers, contractors, factory workers, slaters, tailors, locksmith, blacksmith.


Religions include, Catholic, Anglican, Mormons, Quakers, Presbyterian, Baptists, Methodist, Disciples of Christ.


There have been roughly 3,000 blood relatives identified in some fashion including 350 direct line blood Grandparents.
